Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Canadify app and this website. Canadify is an independent product built to help you understand Canada's Express Entry system and prepare for the CELPIP test. Please read them carefully.
Welcome to Canadify ("Canadify", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Canadify mobile application or this website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
In plain terms: Canadify is an educational and planning tool. It is not the government, not a law firm, and not the official CELPIP test. Always confirm anything that affects your immigration application with an official source.
Independence & no government affiliation
Canadify is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or any other agency of the Government of Canada.
All immigration scoring, draw history, program eligibility, and other immigration information shown in the Service are reproductions of publicly available information and may not reflect the most recent rules. For official decisions about your immigration application, always consult IRCC directly at canada.ca.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
License to use the app
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial, personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or any related systems;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure;
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or republish content from the Service;
- Submit content to AI features that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.
Educational purpose & no professional advice
Everything in the Service — including CRS scoring, draw cutoffs, candidate-pool figures, NOC classifications, physical-presence (citizenship) calculations, and provincial (PNP) scoring — is provided for educational and planning purposes only. Rules and program criteria change frequently, and the Service may not always reflect the most recent changes.
Calculations are estimates. They do not constitute legal, immigration, financial, or tax advice. For decisions that affect your immigration status, finances, or taxes, please consult a qualified professional (such as a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer) or the relevant government agency.
CELPIP practice content
Canadify is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Paragon Testing Enterprises Inc., the owner and administrator of the CELPIP test.
"CELPIP" is a trademark of Paragon Testing Enterprises Inc. The practice tests in the Service are written by Canadify in the style of the CELPIP-General test for educational practice purposes only. They are not actual CELPIP test material, and a strong score on these practice tests does not predict or guarantee performance on the official exam. For official CELPIP registration, scores, and study materials, visit celpip.ca.
AI-powered features
Some features — including AI grading of CELPIP-style Writing and Speaking responses — use third-party artificial-intelligence services to generate feedback. AI output is automatically generated and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent.
- Any band score or estimate produced by AI is an estimate only. The official CELPIP test is rated by trained human examiners on the full audio of your speaking section.
- Speaking grading is based on a text transcript and cannot assess pronunciation, intonation, pacing, or audio quality.
- You are responsible for the content you submit and should not include sensitive personal information in your responses.
Subscriptions & purchases
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Free tier
We may offer a free tier with limited functionality (for example, a limited set of practice content and tools). The features included in the free tier may change at any time without notice.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep immigration data and tools current, but we do not warrant that any information in the Service is accurate, complete, or up to date. Draw results, cutoffs, point tables, and program rules are subject to change by the relevant authorities at any time. You rely on the Service at your own risk.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Apple for distribution and payments, and cloud and AI providers for certain features). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.
Intellectual property & trademarks
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, practice content, and software, is owned by Canadify or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. All trademarks, service marks, and product names referenced in the Service — including but not limited to "CELPIP", "Express Entry", "IRCC", and provincial program names — are the property of their respective owners. Their use is for identification and reference only and does not imply endorsement.
Availability & updates
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also release updates that change features or functionality.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any estimate it produces will match an official result.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canadify and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any immigration outcome, test result, or decision made in reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canadify and its contributors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and Canadify only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Media Services Terms with respect to your use of the app, Apple's terms govern that conflict.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to resolve disputes in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
